Interior Design Project of a 250 m² house in Lake Garda, Lombardy.

The design of this house involved a new distribution of its interiors and the arrangement of its external spaces. Located in an area characterized by extraordinary beautiful natural elements, the interior “talks” with the landscape, that also creates many frames for Lake Garda. On the outside, a stone cladding envelops the ground floor almost as if it were born from the soil. The external plaster, in light grey, perfectly connects the house and the surrounding landscape. The whitish flooring gives an ethereal appearance to the whole building.

Inside your home, there’s your universe

The master bathroom has a strong, material, unique character. The anthracite grey used for the ceiling and walls redefines this space’s perception: from a narrow, long and tall bathroom to a bathroom with correct proportions. The point lighting comes from the adjustable spotlights and it underlines the most spectacular elements, such as the shower and the sink. The structure of the suspended cabinet in natural Nordic oak recalls the bedroom’s parquet, while the porcelain stoneware top greatly matches with the covering and floor of this modern bathroom with a strong personality.

Double bedroom

Flooded with natural light thanks to two large French windows, this room literally projects outwards. To enjoy this extension towards the surrounding environment, but at the same time to guarantee this double bedroom’s a good level of intimacy, we created a 3 level curtain system: opaque, semi-opaque and transparent.

A room among the cypresses and olive trees, a room by the pool. The essence of Lake Garda enters this space thanks to a wallpaper with a naturalistic motif and a lake triptych, thus appearing pervaded by the beauty of nature. An incredibly simple wardrobe, in silk grey with a matte finish, creates a neutral backdrop capable of remaining in the background compared to the landscape and naturalistic presence.

Living

The entire first floor houses an incredibly bright living room, characterized by a refined and modern style. The staircase leading here separates the kitchen area from the actual living room. In order to perceive this environment as a single space, the staircase is delimited by parapets made of tempered glass sheets. The whitening of the exposed beams, the presence of a light parquet and the plaster characterized by neutral tones lighten the whole space, inviting the gaze to admire the extraordinary landscape outside.
