In this renovation work, we focus the internal layout of the apartment, changing it to meet the needs and desires of those who will live there. The heart of our project, in fact, was the creation of a large open space connecting the living room, the dining room and the kitchen. This now offers a bright and functional living area, perfect for moments of friendly atmosphere and relax.
The sleeping area, on the other hand, was subjected to a strategic redistribution, with the aim of optimising spaces and improving general comfort: we gave more importance to the master bedroom by adding an ensuite bathroom, idea that has ensured greater privacy and a better quality of daily life.
The living area has acquired a new identity thanks to the removal of the dividing walls, an intervention that has enhanced the visual breadth and natural brightness, amplified by the large French windows welcoming guests along the room’s entire depth. Even though the setting is mainly focused on being an open space, each single area is clearly one-of-a-kind thanks to a careful distribution of the different furnishings.

The kitchen is one of the most lived-in and central areas of the all house. Located immediately after the entrance, it has both a strategic position that hides itself from a first visual impact, but also has the key role of being the very first space where guests are welcomed.

It’s up to the kitchen’s finishes to create elegant contrasts: the warm essence of the walnut wood wall units makes an harmonious contrast with the white doors, giving the whole environment a feeling of balance between modernity and tradition. The slate-effect grey top completes the overall aesthetic idea with a touch of refinement, while the black electric appliances integrate perfectly, adding character and stylistic coherence.

The master bathroom has been redesigned to optimize space and improve its functionality level. Originally, it was long and narrow, a feature that has been harmonized with the creation of a partition. This intervention gave us the possibility of creating a small laundry corner at the entrance, visually separated from the rest of the bathroom. We’d rather not forget the addition of a comfortable piece of wooden furniture with its solid top and a large drawer that ensures order and functionality. They are both very useful in organizing a good space to store everything you need. The white ceramic of the countertop washbasin and its soft lines harmoniously connect with the suspended sanitary ware, giving the room both a minimal and contemporary touch. On the back, a spacious walk-in shower completes the composition, improving the relaxation experience.

The floor, made with LIMESTONE tiles by Marazzi Ceramiche in the collection’s sand shade, gives a feeling of warm naturalness and creates a refined balance with the wooden furniture. Our customer choose a Taupe color from the same collection to be used on the coverings: this more intense shade adds depth and definition to the all space. To complete the design, the shower niche was embellished with tiles from the Plaster collection, characterized by a grey cementine pattern.
The soft veils, distributed strategically, emit a soft and uniform light that enhances the floor and coverings’ textures, highlighting the wood’s naturalness and the materiality of the stoneware surfaces. The spotlights, positioned in the central points to ensure direct and functional lighting, help define the spaces and intensify the contrast between light and shadow. They also generate an enveloping and well-balanced effect that perfectly harmonizes the light inside the environment.

This is surely a detail adding character and functionality, offering space for personal objects, books and small furnishing accessories. The walls, painted in a delicate sand gray, envelop the room in a serene and welcoming atmosphere, and create a nice contrast with the brightness and linearity of the white furniture. Thanks to the spaces’ redefinition, we were able to create an ensuite bathroom, which gives our clients the opportunity to live one of their dream: an exclusive and intimate corner, in which they could rest, regenerate and enjoy total privacy.
